Redstation sponsoring 2010 Gosport Business Awards

Organised by Gosport Borough Council, the awards focus on rewarding business excellence, and will "recognise companies whose innovation has ensured their survival during the economic downturn".

Networking opportunity

Local businesses are being urged to enter, to raise their profile and to network with other enterprises from the area.

Winners will be announced at a prestigious black tie gala presentation ceremony, which will be held on Thursday 25 November at the Alverbank Hotel, and hosted by radio celebrity Steve Power from Wave 105.

And one lucky winner will receive the coveted Gosport Business of the Year award from Redstation.

Chance to 'blow our own trumpets'

"This is a fantastic opportunity for local businesses to network, as well as to receive recognition and be rewarded for their achievements," said Redstation's Managing Director Martin Groom. "There's so much 'doom and gloom' proffered about the economy, but many businesses in Gosport are actually thriving. This is a chance to blow our own trumpets. Of course, I'm delighted that Redstation is involved with the awards, and I very much look forward to meeting fellow Gosport entrepreneurs at the ceremony in November."
