Redstation launch its second purpose built data centre

Redstation has announced the launch of its second purpose built data centre. The state of the art 5,000sq ft facility will be the second data centre, designed, built and purchased outright by Redstation. The new facility, which is roughly double the size of the existing data centre, will make use of the latest technology including Free Cooling © from GEA Denco to make it a much greener Data Centre. The new facility is due for completion, and will be opened by the Mayor of Gosport on 10th August 2010.

Redstation's Operations Manager Kevin McArdle said "It's incredibly exciting to be working on a project as large as this. Taking into account how our current Data Centre was built and how technology has progressed, we are at the forefront of data centre technology with our new facility. The project has run smoothly with no hiccups, and we are all very excited to see it coming together in the final stages."
